How It Started

It is becoming increasingly popular to adapt its services to deaf people. The StartDialog company offered online sign language interpreting, but this involved the use of various communicators to make video calls and take care of frequent technical problems.

Strategic And Practical Session

We conducted a workshop for the company to define what a support service for deaf people in the 21st century should look like. During the workshop we designed not only the tool, but also the entire customer experience path.

The Final Result

The resulting application works as follows:

1. The company delivers QR code plaques to its institutional clients (offices, offices, hotels, stores).

2. When a deaf person shows up at the customer's door, he or she has the option of scanning the QR code with a cell phone, which redirects him or her to the company's proprietary video call tool. On the other side in the interpreter panel, there is always an available person who is a sign language interpreter.

This is how we came up with a very simple way to serve deaf people, without having to hire an interpreter, with the ability to queue and add multiple interpreters.

However, our client still needed a CRM system connected to the application to analyze and monitor calls, their duration and the waiting time for an interpreter. We prepared such a solution as soon as the application had passed the tests and the customers were satisfied.
